Human Resources Coordinator – Graduate & Student Support

About the role

Join CERN’s People Experience and Engagement team as a Human Resources Coordinator. You will be the primary HR contact for graduate and student communities, helping them navigate their contracts and career development within a world‑leading research environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main HR point of contact for graduate and student staff in assigned departments.
• Provide expert advice and support throughout the entire contract lifecycle.
• Collaborate with HR colleagues to deliver efficient back‑office services, including performance management and staff‑related actions.
• Streamline HR procedures, contribute to continuous improvement, and support data‑driven reporting.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and maintain open dialogue to enhance services.
• Deliver engaging HR presentations to diverse audiences.
• Participate in HR projects as required.

Required profile

• Higher Administrative diploma or equivalent relevant experience in HR administration.
• Extensive experience in HR within an international, multi‑tasking environment.
• Proven ability to assess HR situations independently and propose workable solutions.
• Strong behavioural competencies: effective communication, teamwork, accountability, results orientation, and autonomous work style.
• Fluent spoken and written English with a commitment to learn French.
