LaTeX Specialist (Fluent in French) – Freelance AI Trainer

About the role

We are seeking a LaTeX expert who is fluent in French to help train large‑scale language models. As a freelance AI trainer you will work remotely, interacting with the model on complex document‑preparation scenarios and helping it learn high‑quality scientific typesetting.

Key responsibilities

• Converse with the AI model on LaTeX document preparation, troubleshooting, and advanced formatting topics.
• Verify the accuracy and logical consistency of generated LaTeX code.
• Capture reproducible error traces and document failure modes.
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a related field (preferred).
• Professional experience in academic publishing, technical writing, or scientific communication.
• Fluency in French.
• Clear, metacognitive communication style (“showing your work”).

Required skills

• Advanced LaTeX typesetting and mathematical formatting.
• Bibliographic management (BibTeX/Biber).
• Package customization and template development.
• Beamer presentation creation.
• TikZ graphics generation.
• Cross‑referencing techniques and collaborative editing workflows.
