Operations Specialist – Tax Reporting Data (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Operations Specialist – Tax Reporting Data will join Julius Baer’s Operations Data Centre of Excellence on a fixed‑term basis. The role focuses on executing and improving data processes that support client tax reporting, ensuring high‑quality data delivery to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily data cleansing and enrichment using Excel and dedicated dashboards.
• Validate data through a 4‑eye principle, producing and verifying reports.
• Apply and monitor operational, AML/CFT, and fraud risk guidelines.
• Execute control activities, report incidents and support ad‑hoc queries.
• Provide timely feedback and assistance to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in banking operations, preferably in client tax reporting or financial instruments.
• Strong affinity for working with numbers and delivering clean, high‑quality data.
• Excellent written and spoken English; German is a significant advantage.
• Reliable team player with high accountability and self‑direction.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with dashboard tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with the tax reporting software “Easy Tax” (plus).
