Production Engineer

About the role

DeepJudge is looking for a Production Engineer to run and continuously evolve its AI‑powered legal platform in production. You will provide incident support, build tooling, automation, and observability to keep the platform reliable and catch inconsistencies before they affect customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical response to production incidents, coordinating investigations and resolutions across engineering teams.
• Investigate root causes, turning operational learnings into lasting improvements that strengthen reliability and resilience.
• Build automation, internal tooling, and operational workflows that improve engineering productivity, deployment safety, and scaling efficiency.
• Partner with product engineers to improve reliability, scalability, and performance of new features before they reach production.
• Help shape engineering best practices around reliability, testing, deployments, observability, and production operations.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Production Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role operating production systems at scale.
• Calm under pressure, able to lead incident response while communicating clearly across teams.
• Enjoy debugging complex problems across application code, Kubernetes, networking, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Comfortable writing software in languages such as Go, Python, Rust, Java, or TypeScript.
