Senior Android (KMP) Mobile Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Android Mobile Developer with deep expertise in Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) to join our Specialized App team. You will help build a shared, scalable mobile architecture that powers both Android and iOS experiences for our rider‑focused digital ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Design and evolve shared KMP business‑logic modules (domain models, use cases, data access, networking) used by both Android and iOS.
• Integrate KMP modules on Android, ensuring performance, interoperability, and a native developer experience.
• Implement efficient caching strategies across native and shared layers to improve offline reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, iOS engineers, and backend teams to deliver cohesive cross‑platform user experiences.
• Lead technical discussions on KMP architecture, mentor junior developers, and champion best practices in modularization, testing, and performance.
• Contribute to the long‑term vision of KMP as a cornerstone of our mobile platform.

Required profile

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on Android development delivering production apps.
• 3+ years of proven Kotlin Multiplatform experience with shipped apps.
• Strong understanding of event‑driven programming patterns.
