Senior Technical Consultant SAP Development (Transportation Management)

About the role

Sika is looking for a highly experienced SAP developer specialized in Transportation Management to support its global digital transformation initiatives. The Senior Technical Consultant will design, build, and optimise SAP TM solutions while ensuring alignment with clean‑core principles and modern SAP BTP extensions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain custom developments for Freight Units, Freight Orders and related TM business objects.
• Enhance planning and execution screens, FPM applications and UI components using BADIs and enhancement points.
• Automate charge calculations with BRF+ and configure PPF actions for printing, output and event‑driven processes.
• Develop custom logic for transportation network modelling, including means of transport, locations and routes.
• Extend TM master data models and interfaces using BOs, CDS views and OData services.
• Create and enhance Fiori and UI5 applications for TM standard and custom scenarios.
• Set up side‑by‑side extensions on SAP BTP, leveraging event‑driven architecture, AI/ML and SAP Joule.
• Review functional design documents, produce technical documentation and coach team members.

Required profile

• 10+ years of proven experience in SAP TM development (embedded and decentralised).
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with functional, business and management stakeholders.
• Experience delivering high‑quality, scalable solutions in a global template environment.
• Ability to work independently and guide junior team members.
• Fluency in English.
