Talent Lead

About the role

Adaptyv, a fast‑growing biotech company building an automated lab for AI‑driven wet‑lab experiments, is looking for a Talent Lead to own the end‑to‑end talent function as the organization doubles in size. Based in Lausanne, you will work closely with the founders and hiring managers to define hiring strategies, assess candidates, and shape the future organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute talent acquisition strategies for diverse roles ranging from protein biochemists to software engineers.
• Partner with hiring managers to create accurate job profiles, interview processes and evaluation criteria.
• Source, engage and assess candidates across multiple talent pools, tailoring pitches to scientific and engineering audiences.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from requisition to offer, ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines to support rapid scaling over the next twelve months.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of both life‑science research and software/hardware engineering environments.
• Proven ability to evaluate technical talent without needing deep domain expertise.
• Excellent communication skills to translate role requirements to candidates and hiring teams.
• Self‑starter who can operate independently in a fast‑moving startup.
