About the role
Julius Baer is seeking an Account Manager for Employee Banking on a fixed‑term basis to cover an 8‑month maternity leave. The role involves full account administration for bank employees, handling daily operations, documentation and regulatory compliance without the involvement of a Relationship Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day client service, processing orders, trades, deposits, loans and other transactions.
- Open new client accounts and process changes to existing accounts, ensuring high‑quality documentation such as client identification and legal forms.
- Interact independently with global clients, providing accurate information and maintaining professional relationships.
- Lead internal projects that impact account relationships, resolve administrative issues and keep systems and documentation up to date.
- Document work, share insights with colleagues and continuously improve processes.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager or 3 years as an Account Manager in banking.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
- Systematic, proactive and precise working style with ability to perform under pressure.
- Team player with a positive “can‑do” attitude and willingness to take extra initiative.
