Account Manager & Talent Acquisition Specialist (German-speaking Switzerland)

About the role

Sword Group seeks an entrepreneurial professional to join its Bern office as an Account Manager & Talent Acquisition Specialist for the German‑speaking region of Switzerland. You will drive business growth, nurture key client relationships, and partner with the central Recruitment Team to place qualified IT talent.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand an existing portfolio of key accounts, building long‑term client relationships.
• Identify new business opportunities, acquire new clients and strengthen Sword’s market presence in German‑speaking Switzerland.
• Analyse client needs and propose tailored service, project and staffing solutions.
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing.
• Translate client requirements into recruitment briefs and work closely with the central Recruitment Team.
• Source, assess and attract qualified IT professionals for client projects.
• Provide end‑to‑end candidate support, from recruitment through onboarding.
• Maintain a strong network of IT specialists and industry professionals.
• Collaborate with Sword’s nearshore and offshore delivery centres.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Several years of experience in the IT services industry, preferably in account management, recruitment or business development.
• Proven track record of developing and growing client relationships.
• Strong communication, negotiation and networking abilities.
• Entrepreneurial, self‑driven and results‑oriented mindset.
• Native‑level German with good proficiency in French and English.
