Administration & Data Analysis Internship

About the role

The International Trade Centre (ITC) is seeking a motivated intern to support the Division of Programme Support (DPS) in Geneva. You will gain hands‑on experience in administrative processes and data analysis while contributing to the organisation’s mission of enhancing trade competitiveness for developing countries.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain filing systems, databases, and records in line with UN procedures.
• Assist in monitoring implementation of DPS policies, guidelines, and SOPs.
• Compile, analyse, and visualise data for reports, presentations, and internal briefings.
• Prepare briefing materials, presentations (MS Word, PowerPoint) and support report development.
• Support the organisation of meetings, workshops, and other events.
• Update and maintain intranet/webpages, shared platforms, and communication tools.
• Contribute to knowledge‑sharing initiatives, drafting content for newsletters or internal communications.

Required profile

• Enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor’s programme, a graduate programme, or a recent graduate (within one year of graduation).
• Relevant field of study such as business studies or management.
• Strong analytical and written communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience in developing reports, statistics and data visualisations.
• Computer literate with the ability to manage digital platforms.
