AMS Test Specialist

About the role

The Test Management Team at Avaloq is responsible for planning and executing test campaigns for client releases, hot fixes and end‑of‑period testing across the banking landscape. As an AMS Test Specialist you will coordinate release processes, manage test environments and ensure successful client UAT.

Key responsibilities

• Manage release processes for Avaloq software changes, including monthly client releases (UPL) and hot‑fixes (EME).
• Coordinate and plan test campaigns, simulations for end‑of‑period testing and ensure test environment availability for client UAT.
• Track, distribute and report test results to management and clients, and provide scope content for releases.
• Orchestrate installation of bug fixes together with Development and Release Management, and manage compliance/audit key controls.
• Maintain client relationships, communicate status, manage defects, and oversee testing tools and statistics.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of test concepts and methodology with at least 3 years of experience in the banking or finance industry.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and presentation skills, with a structured and rigorous approach.
• Team player with a client‑oriented mindset and the ability to work in a highly challenging environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English and proficiency with MS Office Suite and Jira.
