Artwork Creation Manager

About the role

Flexsis, a personnel services company of the Interiman Group, is recruiting on behalf of its client Roche in Basel for an Artwork Creation Manager. The position starts on 01.01.2027 (latest possible start 01.02.2027) and is planned for 12 months, with an extension very likely if the budget is approved. The workplace is Basel with 40% home office on Monday and Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Create PDFs for printed packaging materials (PPM) from manuscripts, annotated predecessor PDFs and technical drawings, editing existing PDFs such as folding boxes, foils, labels and leaflets, and creating new ones for launches and line extensions.
• Create and edit graphical templates and die cuts, and maintain the tables and graphic standards used for preparing print templates.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Configuration Manager on timely delivery and proactive handling of delays.
• Act as the single point of contact for external artwork service providers and internal and external packaging sites regarding PDF creation.
• Manage file uploads into the PDF library, create content sheets in WebCenter, and maintain and document text macros in the Text DB or scripts in Chili.

Required profile

• Digital and Print Media Designer or Graphic Designer.
• At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in pharma or a service provider environment.
• GMP experience required.
• Education or qualification in Labeling & Artwork Management (or a related field).
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Nice to have: experience with Esko WebCenter and German.

Required skills

• Expert-level Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
• Solid experience with artwork verification tools such as GlobalVision, TVT (Text Verification Tool) and Esko.
