About the role
The Assistant Responsable Izumi will support the management of the Izumi restaurant within Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues Geneva. This role combines team leadership, guest service excellence, and operational oversight to ensure the venue meets Four Seasons’ high standards of quality, hygiene, and hospitality.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the restaurant manager.
- Encourage, train, supervise and, when necessary, discipline the service team.
- Welcome guests warmly, escort them to their tables and ensure a courteous experience throughout their visit.
- Lead the floor to guarantee smooth service flow and optimal table turnover.
- Manage reservations and optimise seating arrangements while adhering to quality criteria and internal procedures.
- Monitor hygiene standards and ensure compliance with Four Seasons’ operational guidelines.
Required profile
- Refined, elegant and warm personality with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Strong coaching and managerial abilities, capable of motivating a diverse team.
- Empathetic and generous approach toward guests, delivering personalized service.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with senior management.
