Associate Director, Talent Acquisition (Europe)

About the role

The Associate Director, Talent Acquisition (Europe) will lead and execute Cytokinetics’ talent acquisition strategy across multiple European countries, partnering with business leaders, HR and cross‑functional stakeholders to drive hiring outcomes that support growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruiting strategies aligned with business priorities and workforce plans for Commercial, Medical Affairs, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality and G&A functions.
• Lead full‑cycle recruitment across Europe, manage executive search firms and external agencies, and build strategic talent pipelines for critical roles.
• Partner with leaders and Total Rewards to provide market insights, sourcing approaches and ensure compliance with GDPR and local employment regulations.
• Establish and continuously improve recruiting processes, tools, reporting and governance to achieve operational excellence.
• Lead and coach contract recruiters, and provide guidance to hiring managers on best practices.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, preferably in pharma, biotech or life sciences.
• Proven experience recruiting across multiple European countries and navigating diverse labor regulations.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with senior leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Fluent English; German and/or French a plus.
