Avaloq Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Avaloq Developer to join a leading banking institution in Geneva. The role blends technical development with functional banking expertise, supporting core wealth‑management and investment platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Avaloq scripts and parameterizations, ensuring high‑quality code and performance.
• Provide L2/L3 support, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem‑solving for production issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in and lead workshops and meetings with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Contribute to modules related to Credit, Risk, Collateral, and Performance where applicable.

Required profile

• Mandatory Avaloq Certified Professional (ACCP) certification.
• Strong banking domain knowledge, especially in wealth management, investments, and financial products.
• Ability to organise and conduct workshops and handle complex topics with varied participants.
• Legal right to work in Switzerland without employer sponsorship.

Required skills

• Avaloq scripting and parameterization.
• L2/L3 support experience.
• SQL query writing and database access tools.
• General programming/scripting proficiency.
