Chalet Housekeeper – Seasonal (Dec 2026 – Feb 2027)

About the role

Fouquet's Promenade Gstaad, the Barrière Group's new luxury destination in Switzerland opening in December 2026, is looking for a Chalet Housekeeper. The property is an exclusive 1,500 m² private chalet in the heart of Gstaad village, with 33 rooms including suites and apartments, a spa and the Japanese restaurant Zuma. The Chalet Housekeeper oversees housekeeping operations, supervises the team and ensures the cleanliness, linen management, VIP setups and service excellence of the chalet.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 3 room attendants and coordinate their work
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all suites, residences and public areas
• Inspect suites and residences on arrival and departure for cleanliness, amenities, VIP setups and standards compliance
• Manage housekeeping equipment, linen, inventories, carts and minibars
• Train the housekeeping team on policies, procedures and service standards
• Handle unexpected situations promptly and professionally, and ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction
• Coordinate housekeeping with the hotel's other departments

Required profile

• Degree in Hospitality Management, specialising in Rooms Division or Accommodation Management
• Proven experience in a similar position in luxury hospitality
• Fluent French and English; a third language is an asset
• EU nationality required for Swiss work permit eligibility
• Excellent general knowledge, organisation, attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Ability to prioritise tasks and respond to urgent guest requests

What we offer

• Fixed-term seasonal contract from 07.12.2026 to 28.02.2027
• Gross base salary of 4,200 to 4,500 CHF per month depending on experience, plus a pro-rata 13th month
