Cloud Engineer / Platform Engineer

About the role

Alpian is looking for a Cloud/Platform Engineer to help build and scale its banking platform that serves thousands of customers. You will work on a modern cloud infrastructure managed as code, ensuring stability, security, and developer productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and improve the Internal Developer Platform, automating delivery pipelines for safe and reliable software.
• Apply a security‑first approach in line with FINMA regulations and contribute to architecture decisions.
• Enhance SRE practices around observability, alerting, and release processes.
• Participate in on‑call rotation (compensated) and leverage AI tools like Claude Code and Gemini to accelerate engineering work.

Required profile

• Strong experience with at least one hyperscaler (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure) and running workloads on Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Terraform and clean coding in Bash, Python, or Go.
• Enthusiasm for AI tools and ability to work in a bilingual (French/English) environment.
