IT Security Engineer – Automation & Infrastructure

About the role

The Infrastructure Security team at Pictet is looking for a Security Software Engineer to drive automation across its security platforms. You will help build and maintain self‑service tools that protect the Group’s infrastructure while supporting 24/7 operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and continuously improve automation for firewalls, proxies, identity providers and VPN solutions.
• Promote infrastructure‑as‑code practices and software craftsmanship within the team and with internal partners.
• Contribute to secure cloud integration architecture for data‑centre environments.
• Participate in daily operations and provide on‑call support for the security platform.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering background with production‑grade code in Python, Go or equivalent.
• Hands‑on experience managing security infrastructure components such as firewalls, proxies, identity providers and VPNs.
• Interest in automation, IaC and CI/CD tools, with a curious mindset for learning new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills in French and English, collaborative attitude, and willingness to mentor others.
