About the role

Mandarin Oriental Geneva is seeking a motivated Commis de Cuisine to join the Ottolenghi culinary team. Working in a luxury hotel environment, you will support the Chef de Cuisine in delivering high‑quality dishes that reflect the brand’s standards of excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes for Ottolenghi.
• Ensure all mise en place is ready and organized for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas.
• Support senior chefs in daily operations and learn new culinary techniques.
• Comply with all safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.

Required profile

• Passion for culinary arts and strong attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a luxury hotel or fine‑dining kitchen is preferred.
• Team‑oriented mindset with curiosity and a desire to grow.
• Good communication skills and flexibility.
• Valid Swiss work permit or EU passport.
