About the role

Michael Page Geneva, a specialist recruitment firm, is recruiting a Consultant for the Commodity Trading Sector. The consultant manages recruitment assignments from initial briefing through to placement, identifies new opportunities and delivers tailored talent solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment assignments for commodity trading positions from initial briefing through to placement.
• Build an understanding of client hiring needs and turn them into clear candidate profiles.
• Source and approach suitable professionals through relevant recruitment channels.
• Screen candidates and present their experience accurately to clients.
• Coordinate interviews and keep clear communication with clients and candidates.
• Provide market insight on available talent and recruitment activity in commodity trading.
• Maintain accurate candidate and client information throughout each recruitment process.
• Contribute to effective Human Resources delivery within the Business Services sector.

Required profile

• Experience in recruitment, candidate sourcing or talent acquisition.
• Knowledge of commodity trading roles and the related candidate market.
• Ability to manage recruitment processes from briefing to placement.
• Confidence in conducting candidate interviews and presenting relevant profiles.
• Ability to build professional relationships with clients and candidates.
• Good organisation when coordinating interviews, applications and recruitment records.
