Communities Coordinator (80-100%)

About the role

The Communities Coordinator will support EULAR’s young rheumatologists, health professionals and paediatric rheumatologists, acting as the main contact for community members and helping to grow their visibility and impact across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for community members, supporting projects, activities and communication.
• Organise virtual and in‑person meetings, webinars and events.
• Handle administrative duties such as documentation, note‑taking, mailbox monitoring, preparing presentations, surveys and reporting.
• Collaborate with community leaders to create content for digital platforms, email campaigns, newsletters and social media in coordination with the Communications department.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including other EULAR committees and external suppliers, to ensure consistent representation and strengthen partnerships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Healthcare Management, Public Health or related field (vocational training accepted).
• 2‑4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong organisational, communication and writing skills with attention to detail.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and multitask.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for international events such as the EULAR Congress.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools.
