Community Organizer (Volunteer) – Hybrid, Zurich

About the role

The World Spirit of the Game Foundation seeks a passionate volunteer Community Organizer to strengthen local networks in the Zürich Metropolitan Area. You will engage diverse audiences, coordinate events, and promote the foundation’s mission of personal accountability for social impact.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and support hybrid (online and in‑person) events, workshops, and discussion circles.
• Coordinate outreach activities, engage partner NGOs, and facilitate peer groups.
• Gather feedback from participants and help design activities that encourage personal accountability.
• Collaborate with global teams to promote initiatives through online and offline channels.

Required profile

• Strong community engagement and outreach abilities, able to connect with diverse groups.
• Experience or strong interest in community organizing and volunteer mobilization.
• Effective written and verbal communication for facilitating discussions and presenting ideas.
• Ability to work independently and within multicultural, cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Event planning for hybrid formats.
• Use of digital communication tools, social media platforms, and basic online event platforms.
• Organizational and time‑management skills.
