Compliance Manager Monitoring – Associate-Director

About the role

Swissquote is seeking an experienced Associate‑Director to lead its Compliance Monitoring team. You will report to the Head of AML Transaction Monitoring and be responsible for supervising operational activities and people management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Compliance Monitoring team, coordinating tasks, performance, and professional development.
• Oversee AML reviews of crypto, cash, and securities transfers, ensuring timely analysis of higher‑risk transactions.
• Supervise sanctions alerts handling, escalation, and final validation.
• Drive optimisation of internal procedures, drafting and updating policies and guidelines.
• Represent Compliance in regulatory and strategic projects and act as a trusted advisor to senior management.

Required profile

• University degree in Law, Economics or related field; compliance certification is a strong asset.
• 5–7 years of experience in a compliance function within the financial industry with proven leadership skills.
• Fluent in English and French; German is a strong asset.
• Strong analytical mindset, structured approach, and excellent communication and decision‑making abilities.
