Compliance Officer – Investigations

About the role

As a Compliance Officer in the Investigations Team, you will manage complex investigations, draft legal clarifications and communicate with the Financial Intelligence Unit (MROS) and other Swiss law‑enforcement authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex investigations and prepare reports for MROS.
• Communicate with MROS and Swiss law‑enforcement authorities, including proof‑reading and validating junior team members' communications.
• Validate client transactions under investigation according to the bank’s delegation framework.
• Optimize internal processes and draft internal guidelines.
• Provide support and advice to front‑line staff and management.

Required profile

• Law or Economics degree (Compliance Management certificate is a strong asset).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial‑industry compliance department, preferably with investigations and MROS reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss law and excellent command of English and French; additional languages (German, Russian, Arabic) are a plus.
• Analytical, methodological approach and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Data analysis tools: R, Python, SQL, Tableau, Snowflake.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
