Compliance Manager, Regulatory Relationships & Governance

About the role

This position is based in Switzerland and offers a compliance professional the chance to lead regulatory governance and relationship management across several European jurisdictions. You will work in a dynamic, international environment, partnering with legal, compliance and business teams to ensure the organisation meets evolving regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate communications with regulatory authorities, prepare materials and respond to inquiries.
• Draft, review and manage regulatory correspondence in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Support governance activities, ensuring accurate and timely regulatory submissions, filings and disclosures.
• Maintain and update compliance documentation, policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Conduct regulatory risk assessments, monitor risks and support mitigation actions.
• Track legislative changes, perform impact assessments and drive implementation across relevant jurisdictions.
• Coordinate compliance reviews, monitoring and assurance initiatives.
• Develop and deliver compliance training programs, tracking participation and completion.
• Assist with regulatory reporting, record‑keeping and market conduct governance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and international teams to promote consistent compliance practices.

Required profile

• Previous experience in compliance, legal, regulatory affairs, governance or risk management.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks and engagement processes, preferably in highly regulated sectors such as financial services, energy or commodities.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with regulators and internal stakeholders.
