Consultant – Indirect Tax / VAT Advisory

About the role

Join EY's Indirect Tax team in Geneva as a Consultant focused on VAT and customs duties. You will work on high‑profile national and international projects, helping clients navigate a rapidly changing tax environment.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in prestigious mandates covering VAT, customs duties and other indirect taxes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary experts to develop innovative solutions for complex tax and business challenges.
• Support the continuous development of technical expertise within a young, dynamic team.
• Engage in in‑house training programs and contribute to the training of qualified tax professionals.

Required profile

• Recognized diploma in economics, law or a related field (master’s, LLM or equivalent).
• Strong interest in Swiss and international indirect taxation, with any prior experience or internship in tax or tax‑technology considered an asset.
• Excellent analytical abilities, methodical approach and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluent in English and French; German is a plus.
• Agile, growth‑oriented attitude and a curiosity‑driven work ethic.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with AI tools and automation workflows.
