Consultant on Policy Network on Cybersecurity and Digital Inclusion

About the role

The Department of Economic and Social Affairs is seeking a consultant to support the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) Policy Network on Cybersecurity and Digital Inclusion. The consultant will work remotely for an expected 75 working days, providing synthesis, analysis, and high‑quality outputs that inform multistakeholder policy discussions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the MAG issue coordinator(s) and other participants in the Policy Network and Policy Network on Digital Inclusion (PNDI).
• Gather, synthesize, and summarize community discussions, emerging practices, and policy recommendations.
• Produce readable, well‑structured reports and briefing notes that reflect a deep understanding of cybersecurity and digital inclusion topics.
• Ensure timely delivery of all agreed‑upon outputs.
• Incorporate feedback from experts and stakeholders to improve the quality of deliverables.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in policy analysis, especially in Internet governance, cybersecurity, or digital inclusion.
• Strong ability to work in a multistakeholder environment and coordinate with diverse participants.
• Excellent written communication skills, with a focus on clarity and readability.
• Proven track record of delivering high‑quality analytical outputs on time.
