Delivery / Functional Consultant – Junior or Senior

About the role

THEMA Consulting is expanding its Delivery team in Lugano and seeks a Delivery / Functional Consultant to implement and enhance its MasterFinance platform. The position is open to both junior and senior candidates with a strong background in financial instruments and capital‑markets operations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the MasterFinance platform at client sites, ensuring successful go‑live.
• Design, test, and validate platform enhancements and new features.
• Produce functional documentation and deliver expert product knowledge to clients.
• Collaborate closely with the Product team to shape future functionalities based on client feedback.

Required profile

• Degree in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent; a Master’s in Finance is a strong plus.
• 2‑8 years of experience in financial services or consulting, with exposure to financial‑instrument mathematics and risk‑management modelling.
• Solid knowledge of financial products (fixed income, derivatives, FX, credit, equity, commodities) and their lifecycle.
• Familiarity with capital‑markets and treasury operating models, project delivery cycles, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., EMIR, Basel III/IV, IFRS 9).
• Excellent communication skills in English and Italian; additional French or German is a plus.
