Demi-chef de Partie – L'Atelier Robuchon

About the role

The Woodward, Geneva's first all-suite hotel, is home to L'Atelier Robuchon, the only two-Michelin-starred restaurant in Geneva. As Demi-chef de Partie, you will work under the orders of the Chef, the Second Chef and the Chefs de Partie, handling all kitchen tasks and acting as an ambassador of the luxury service offered to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and check goods for weight, quality and freshness
• Store goods and manage stock rotation using the FIFO principle
• Prepare and work with noble products, cook and season dishes, and make sauces
• Prepare basic recipes and mise en place for service
• Plate dishes according to technical sheets and quality standards
• Supervise and control the commis throughout service
• Apply hygiene, food safety and HACCP standards rigorously
• Help integrate and train new colleagues

Required profile

• Culinary diploma and/or equivalent hotel school training
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in a starred restaurant or fine-dining establishment
• Good gastronomic culture, attention to detail and high quality standards
• Rigorous, dynamic, well organised and team-oriented
• Fluent French, spoken and written
• Availability as soon as possible, including weekends and public holidays
