Desktop Support Engineer – On‑site in Geneva

About the role

We are a technology services company delivering on‑site IT support across Switzerland. As a Desktop Support Engineer based in Geneva you will be the first point of contact for users facing hardware, software or network issues, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level, on‑site assistance for desktops, laptops, peripherals and network connectivity.
• Diagnose, resolve and document technical problems using remote support tools and our ticketing system.
• Install, configure and maintain desktop hardware and software components.
• Escalate complex incidents to higher‑tier teams and follow up on resolutions.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date inventory of hardware and software assets and record support activities.

Required profile

• Proficiency with Windows operating systems and desktop management.
• Hands‑on experience troubleshooting hardware and network issues.
• Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and customer‑service focus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Geneva and participate in rotational support.
• Preferred: knowledge of Active Directory and IT asset management, and prior corporate support‑engineering experience.
