Director of Internal Communications – Europe

About the role

The Director, Internal Communications, Europe will shape and deliver clear, engaging communications that connect employees with Revolution Medicines’ culture, strategy and priorities across the region. Reporting to the VP, Corporate Affairs, Europe, the role partners with global and regional stakeholders to translate complex initiatives into actionable messages for country teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a regional narrative that brings the global mission and values to life for diverse European cultures.
• Advise regional and country leaders on messaging, tone, timing and channel, and prepare them for high‑profile communications.
• Define purpose, audience and governance of internal channels, manage editorial calendars and optimise reach and engagement.
• Partner with Commercial, HR, Legal, Supply Chain, Market Access and IT leaders to create locally relevant communications aligned with corporate strategy.
• Communicate systems, policy and process changes, coordinating milestones and monitoring adoption.
• Build team fluency in AI‑enabled tools for audience insight, message drafting and real‑time measurement, and develop best‑practice toolkits.

Required profile

• Degree in Law, Communications, Arts, Political Science, Public Health, Life Sciences or related field.
• 10+ years of communications experience, including at least 5 years in internal communications.
• Proven leadership, influence and ability to deliver impactful communications campaigns.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written storytelling skills, with experience translating policy for lay audiences.
• Experience in pharma or biotech environments and strong digital communications expertise.

Required skills

• Hands‑on fluency with generative AI tools for drafting, monitoring and sentiment analysis.
• Proficiency with digital communication platforms (web, social media, internal portals).
