Director of Procurement Transformation (80-100%)

About the role

SuisseCo is seeking an experienced Director of Procurement Transformation to lead high‑impact programmes for national and international clients. The role combines client leadership, business development, digital transformation, and team management, operating at 80‑100% capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement procurement Target Operating Models (TOM) and oversee end‑to‑end transformation programmes.
• Optimize Source‑to‑Pay, strategic sourcing, supplier and contract management, and purchasing operations.
• Advise clients on shared service centres, outsourcing, governance frameworks and procurement operating models.
• Support selection and rollout of procurement technologies such as SAP Ariba, Coupa and Ivalua.
• Lead cross‑functional transformation projects and contribute to business development activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with CPOs, Heads of Procurement, CFOs and other senior stakeholders.
• Develop, mentor and grow a high‑performing procurement consulting team.

Required profile

• 9+ years of procurement consulting experience with a leading consulting firm.
• Strong expertise in procurement operating models, process optimisation, KPI benchmarking, shared services and digital transformation.
• Proven business development success and an established network within Swiss or Swiss‑headquartered organisations.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English; German is a strong advantage, French is a plus.
