Director of Product Marketing

About the role

EF Language Abroad is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to lead the Academic Year Abroad portfolio. Based in Zurich and working on‑site, you will shape and execute marketing strategies that drive growth across global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Set and drive marketing strategy, translating global direction into locally relevant plans.
• Own go‑to‑market strategy for growth initiatives, including launches, expansions and updates.
• Develop and maintain the global positioning framework and messaging hierarchy.
• Lead customer and market intelligence, turning research into actionable product roadmap recommendations.
• Partner with product, sales, creative, digital and technology teams to ensure on‑brand localization and seamless customer journeys.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of product marketing, brand or GTM experience, preferably in education, travel or subscription businesses.
• Strong international experience with high EQ and ability to balance local relevance and global scalability.
• Proven ability to turn marketing activity into measurable commercial impact.
• Comfort operating in fast‑changing, ambiguous environments with strong project management skills.

Required skills

• Experience designing and managing global GTM plans.
• Expertise in customer research, competitive intelligence and value‑proposition development.
• Channel literacy across paid, organic, SEO, social and CRM.
• Ability to write strategic, on‑brand briefs and present to cross‑functional teams.
