Director Payroll

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Director Payroll to join the headquarters of a prestigious luxury brand in Geneva. In this strategic leadership position you will oversee a team of around 15 payroll specialists and ensure flawless, timely payroll processing for employees at all levels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a payroll team, guaranteeing accurate monthly payroll runs for executives, specialists and production staff.
• Manage relationships and interfaces with pension funds (SVA), insurance providers and other external partners.
• Advise management and employees on salary structures, insurance options and pension schemes.
• Design and optimise competitive compensation models aligned with the company’s long‑term people strategy.
• Collaborate closely with Group Management, Finance and Controlling to provide strategic salary guidance across the group.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in payroll or compensation within a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical and advisory capabilities with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Fluency in French, English and German, both written and spoken.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
