About the role
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to provide deskside and end‑user IT support at a client location in Visp, Switzerland.
Key responsibilities
- Provide deskside and face‑to‑face support for hardware, software, desktop, laptop, and printer issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents using ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools.
- Support Windows and macOS environments, including installation, configuration, deployment, and re‑imaging of computers.
- Manage Active Directory tasks such as user accounts, password resets, and video‑conferencing setup.
- Assist with IT asset management, hardware replacements, and follow security and service‑level procedures.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of desktop, deskside, or IT support experience.
- At least 3 years of face‑to‑face support experience.
- Fluent in French and German, with business‑level English.
- Eligibility to work in Switzerland and ability to start ASAP.
Required skills
- Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Active Directory.
- SCCM or JAMF.
- Networking fundamentals (VLAN, DHCP, DNS).
- ServiceNow or similar ticketing system.
