DXP Architect – Contentstack Specialist

About the role

As a DXP Architect at Merkle, you will shape and deliver experience‑led, composable digital platforms for global clients. The focus is on designing scalable, API‑first solutions built on Contentstack CMS and aligned with MACH and composable DXP principles.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end architecture of digital platforms based on Contentstack CMS.
• Define and drive composable DXP strategies in line with client transformation roadmaps.
• Translate business and marketing requirements into scalable, API‑first solution architectures.
• Design content models, taxonomies, governance frameworks, and multi‑channel delivery strategies.
• Define integration patterns across commerce, DAM, CDP, personalization and other ecosystem tools.
• Collaborate with frontend teams using Next.js, React, or Vue.
• Drive proof‑of‑concepts, technology evaluations and innovation initiatives.
• Ensure performance optimization through CDN strategies, caching and edge delivery.
• Provide technical leadership to distributed development teams, including code reviews and mentorship.
• Partner with DevOps to define CI/CD pipelines and cloud‑native deployment models.
• Act as a client‑facing architect in workshops, solution presentations and pre‑sales activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Contentstack CMS.
• Strong understanding of headless and composable architecture principles (MACH).
• Demonstrated ability to deliver enterprise‑scale digital experience platforms.
