Finance Data Engineer

About the role

Capco is seeking a Finance Data Engineer to work at the intersection of IT, data and finance. You will support and enhance a critical Finance Data Mart that provides Business Finance information, management information and reporting for Private Banking and other banking areas.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance, upgrade or redevelop the Finance Data Mart and its underlying data capabilities.
• Analyse business finance data used for MI and reporting, including assets under management, net new money and return on assets.
• Test and validate data outputs, identify inconsistencies and ensure the information aligns with finance requirements.
• Collaborate with IT, data and finance stakeholders to translate finance needs into robust technical solutions.

Required profile

• Deep experience in data and IT with strong database knowledge and hands‑on SQL skills.
• Strong understanding of finance concepts, business finance reporting and key performance indicators.
• Ability to bridge technical implementation and financial meaning, analysing and improving data quality.
• Professional proficiency in English; French is a plus.
