Finance Lead – Global Procurement Center of Excellence

About the role

The Finance Lead is a critical finance position within the Global Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE) in Root, Switzerland. Reporting to both Procurement and Finance leadership, the role ensures financial governance, transparency, and value tracking across procurement activities while managing the full financial scope of MHK Schweiz.

Key responsibilities

• Support CoE leadership in budgeting, forecasting, cost planning and periodic financial reviews.
• Maintain transparent governance for CoE financial processes and ensure alignment with Finance policies.
• Own and manage the full P&L, balance sheet and cash‑flow for MHK Schweiz, including tax, statutory, audit and compliance requirements.
• Manage CoE cost structure, intercompany charging, and drive cost‑efficiency initiatives.
• Design and implement financial governance frameworks for procurement, including savings validation and delegation of authority.
• Own procurement value‑tracking methodology, consolidate savings data and ensure audit‑ready documentation.
• Prepare executive‑level reporting, provide transparency and support strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance controlling, P&L ownership and budgeting/forecasting cycles.
• Strong understanding of procurement finance, cost management and financial governance.
• Ability to work as a key partner to both Procurement and Finance leadership.
