FinCrime Risk Manager – AML/CTF

About the role

Revolut’s Financial Crime Operations team protects millions of customers worldwide from illicit activity. As a FinCrime Risk Manager you will lead AML and CTF initiatives across multiple product lines and markets, providing hands‑on advisory, control testing and guidance to product, operations and compliance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust AML controls that meet regulatory requirements and can scale across global markets.
• Provide AML advisory on new products, jurisdictions and features, ensuring risks are identified and mitigated early.
• Support audit and regulatory engagements by clearly articulating Revolut’s control frameworks.
• Conduct control testing and quality assurance to validate the design and operating effectiveness of key AML controls.
• Partner with Product, Operations and Compliance to ensure AML controls are effective, measurable and customer‑centric.
• Identify control issues that may negatively impact customers and recommend improvements.
• Maintain AML management information dashboards and documentation for internal governance and external transparency.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as an anti‑money‑laundering subject‑matter expert within a first‑line risk or control function.
• Proven track record of AML advisory across retail and business banking or fintech products.
• Strong ability to conduct risk assessments, identify control gaps and drive remediation.
• Understanding of modern financial products, including crypto‑related services.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of AML typologies, regulatory requirements and control frameworks.
• Experience designing and testing AML controls.
• Ability to communicate complex risk concepts to cross‑functional teams.
