Freelance Video Editor for Podcast (Remote, Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a remote freelance video editor to support a dynamic personal‑development brand in launching and maintaining a video podcast series. The role involves editing 2‑3 episodes per month and creating short‑form promotional clips.

Key responsibilities

• Edit full‑length podcast episodes using multicam footage, ensuring seamless transitions and a cohesive visual style.
• Apply advanced colour grading to maintain consistency across varied recording environments.
• Perform audio post‑production, including noise reduction, EQ, and mastering for broadcast‑quality sound.
• Create engaging short‑form content and highlight reels for social media.
• Integrate motion graphics, lower thirds, and branded elements as required.
• Collaborate remotely with the brand team to align on creative direction and incorporate feedback.
• Deliver final assets in the specified formats and timelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience editing video podcasts or similar long‑form content.
• Expertise in multicam editing, colour grading, and audio post‑production.
• Strong understanding of personal branding and visual storytelling.
• Ability to work independently, manage feedback, and meet deadlines.
• Reliable internet connection for remote collaboration and file transfers.
• Availability for ongoing monthly work with flexibility for varying episode locations.
