Global Quality Manager – Fuel Cell Manufacturing

About the role

The Global Quality Manager will own a single quality system across EHGEH's production streams in Nyon, Switzerland and Houston, Texas, ensuring identical quality standards at both sites. You will be based in Nyon and travel regularly to the US operation as it stands up.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a common QMS covering both sites, including ISO 9001 certification in the US.
• Harmonise product specifications, control plans, inspection criteria and acceptance standards across locations.
• Implement in‑process quality controls for fuel‑cell stack assembly (cleanliness, leak testing, torque, compression, alignment).
• Lead supplier quality activities: qualification, audits, first‑article inspection and ongoing performance for a global supply base.
• Oversee contract manufacturing and assembly partners, managing audits, quality agreements and source inspection.
• Manage non‑conformance, CAPA and traceability, ensuring consistent lot genealogy and record keeping.
• Support certification for European and US markets, working with external certification bodies.

Required profile

• Proven experience owning quality across multiple manufacturing sites, preferably in different countries.
• Hands‑on expertise in in‑process and incoming quality, control plans and measurement systems.
• Strong supplier‑quality background, including audits and qualification.
• Demonstrated structured problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis with lasting corrective actions.
• Knowledge of product certification processes in regulated energy or power equipment sectors.
• Ability to work remotely across time zones and influence sites you are not physically present at.
