About the role
Design and implement the guidance, navigation and control (GNC) algorithms that enable autonomous flight for advanced UAV systems. You will work on real‑time software that must operate reliably under extreme conditions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain GNC software, including guidance laws, navigation filters, and control architectures.
- Create simulation and test utilities for SIL and HIL validation of GNC functionality.
- Define and manage GNC system and software requirements with full traceability.
- Produce technical documentation covering algorithm design, modelling assumptions, and verification results.
- Collaborate with systems, simulation, flight dynamics, software and hardware teams to ensure integration and performance.
Required profile
- MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Automation & Control Engineering or related field.
- 3‑5 years of GNC engineering experience on UAVs, rockets or missiles.
- Strong technical writing skills and ability to produce advanced engineering documentation.
- Fluency in English.
Required skills
- Python programming.
- Rust or C/C++ programming.
- Experience with SIL and HIL simulations and verification processes.
- GNC algorithm development.
