Group Finance Director – International Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Group Finance Director to lead the finance function of an international mid‑sized industrial and manufacturing group based in the Geneva area. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on involvement in accounting, reporting, treasury and tax matters across multiple legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial management, accounting and reporting for the group’s multiple entities.
• Coordinate monthly management accounts, group reconciliations and intercompany balances.
• Manage international treasury activities, including liquidity planning, cash‑flow forecasting and foreign‑exchange exposure.
• Supervise Swiss and cross‑border tax and VAT matters in collaboration with local accountants and external advisers.
• Strengthen financial processes, internal controls and reporting tools while ensuring effective use of the group’s ERP and accounting systems.
• Coordinate statutory and group audits and support senior management on operational finance issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Finance Director, Head of Finance or senior financial leader in an international, multi‑entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, consolidation, management reporting, treasury, intercompany transactions, audit and indirect taxation.
• Fluent in English and French; additional European language is a plus.
