Head of Client Relations and Sales – Hydropower (Switzerland)

About the role

Are you ready to take the next step in your career and drive the sales of AFRY Switzerland’s hydropower business? As the person responsible for client relations and sales within the Swiss hydropower organization, you will play a key role in developing target markets and building long‑term client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze the development of the hydropower business in target markets such as Europe, Canada, the Middle East, CIS countries, and Africa.
• Develop sales strategies and approaches for selected clients and opportunities.
• Coordinate and prepare proposals, finalize contracts, and support project teams in after‑sales activities.
• Collaborate with regional sales teams for opportunities beyond AFRY Switzerland’s core markets, including South America, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Austria, India, Thailand, and Australia.
• Develop and maintain sales materials and AI‑based applications.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering (civil, environmental, mechanical or electrical).
• Solid understanding of the hydropower sector.
• Experience in the sale of professional services with a strong commercial mindset.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluency in English; German or additional languages are a strong asset.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
