Head of Finance Operations

About the role

Batgroup is seeking a commercially‑minded Head of Finance Operations to join its Finance team in Lausanne. In this senior position you will act as a trusted partner to the Group CFO and department heads, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day financial operations while supporting strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Support the CFO on daily finance operations and provide financial expertise on complex, cross‑functional topics.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance and compliance; develop policies, monitor internal controls and coordinate external audits.
• Oversee accounting processes including month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close, A/R, A/P, payroll, taxation and treasury.
• Prepare annual financial statements and the annual report, and partner with FP&A to drive performance analysis.
• Identify financial and compliance risks, ensure appropriate follow‑up and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance operations, preferably in a fast‑growing, digital or service‑oriented environment.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate financial data into business recommendations.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining robust financial controls and governance frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across functions and international markets.
