Head of Investor Relations

About the role

Tecan is looking for a Head of Investor Relations to lead its Group Investor Relations activities and act as the main interface between the company and the capital markets. The role ensures clear, consistent and credible communication of the company's strategy, financial performance, outlook and investment proposition to investors and analysts, and builds trusted relationships with the investment community.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain trust and credibility with investors and analysts, and develop relationships with existing and prospective shareholders
• Ensure a clear, compelling and consistent equity story aligned with company strategy, and monitor investor sentiment, analyst research and consensus expectations
• Organise and take part in investor meetings, roadshows, conferences and other capital-market events
• Lead the preparation of financial results communication, including presentations, scripts, Q&A materials and supporting documents
• Provide Management and the Board with investor feedback, market intelligence and external perspectives
• Ensure IR activities comply with stock-exchange regulations, disclosure requirements and internal policies

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field
• At least 5 years' experience in a similar position or in a business journalism function
• Fluent in German and English
• Strong communication and presentation skills, strategic and analytical thinking, leadership skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
