Hotel Connectivity Specialist – Channel Managers & Switches

About the role

We are looking for a Hotel Connectivity Specialist to act as the technical and commercial bridge between Global Hotel and the channel managers, switches and connectivity providers that power our hotel distribution. This hands‑on role focuses on understanding, diagnosing and improving connectivity across our hotel portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the subject‑matter expert on channel manager and switch connectivity, covering ARI distribution, booking delivery, content mapping and rate/availability push‑pull.
• Engage directly with partners such as SiteMinder, D‑EDGE, Cloudbeds, RateGain, DerbySoft and Availpro to assess capabilities, limitations and roadmaps.
• Read and interpret API documentation and integration specs to evaluate fit against our needs.
• Identify technical gaps affecting content quality, availability, conversion or operational efficiency and propose upgrades or replacements.
• Translate technical findings into business cases with quantified impact, working with data and analytics teams.
• Support commercial negotiations that require deep technical insight.
• Coordinate discovery and integration work between external partners and internal product and engineering teams across Europe and Asia.

Required profile

• 4+ years of hands‑on experience with hotel connectivity (channel managers, switches, aggregation platforms) on the OTA, bedbank or hotel‑tech side.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to build clear business cases from technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and commercial stakeholders.

Required skills

• Deep practical understanding of ARI flows, booking delivery and connectivity protocols (XML/JSON, push/pull).
• Ability to read API documentation, diagnose integration issues and work with partners without being a software engineer.
• Basic SQL and data literacy for impact analysis.
