HR Manager - Mission

About the role

Nestlé's Wangen factory (about 100 employees) is looking for an HR Manager on a temporary basis. The role shapes and delivers the people strategy so the factory can perform, grow and provide a safe, engaging workplace, working closely with the Factory Manager, management team, line managers, employees and specialist teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the people strategy and workforce plan to attract, develop and retain the talent the factory needs
• Shape an agile organisation and guide smooth transitions that strengthen performance and business continuity
• Drive performance, talent and development practices that turn business priorities into clear goals and growth opportunities
• Build trusted relationships with employees and their representatives to foster engagement, cooperation and an inclusive workplace
• Coach leaders on people management, decision-making and team effectiveness
• Improve people processes, learning systems and wellbeing initiatives while reinforcing safety, quality and environmental standards

Required profile

• Fluent German and very good spoken and written English; French is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Swiss employment law and sound judgement in employee relations
• Business insight and a results-focused approach to turning factory priorities into practical people solutions
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and influence with integrity

The work model is hybrid, from 50% to 90%, with at least one full day on site. The contract is temporary, 10 months from December 2026 to September 2027. Internal candidates are invited to discuss their application with their HR Business Partner and line manager first.
