HR Site Head – Stein Site (80-100%)

About the role

Lonza is seeking an experienced HR Site Head to join the Stein Site Leadership Team in Switzerland. You will partner with the Site Head to shape people and organization strategies that support manufacturing ramp‑up and sustainable site performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic HR guidance to the Site Head and leadership team.
• Develop and execute workforce and people strategies aligned with site growth.
• Lead organizational design, workforce planning and change initiatives.
• Build leadership capability through coaching, succession planning and talent development.
• Collaborate with business leaders to ensure teams have needed skills and resources.
• Use workforce data and insights to drive performance improvements.
• Ensure HR service delivery complies with Swiss employment regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development or related field.
• Minimum 10 years HR experience in pharma, biotech, life sciences or complex manufacturing.
• Proven experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing business strategy.
• Strong expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, talent management and change management.
• Knowledge of employee relations and Swiss employment law.
• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management and coaching skills.
• Fluency in English and German.
