About the role

The company is a well‑established Swiss industrial organization seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner. Reporting to senior leadership, you will act as a trusted advisor to line managers, shaping people strategies that support business growth and organisational development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on HR, organisational design and Swiss employment law to managers.
• Translate corporate and departmental strategies into actionable HR initiatives.
• Support restructurings, role clarifications and team‑structure design.
• Partner with leadership on workforce planning, succession planning and skills development.
• Assist recruitment processes, define job profiles and ensure smooth onboarding and off‑boarding.
• Guide employee‑relations matters, including warnings, dismissals and termination agreements.
• Manage absence cases such as illness, accidents and maternity leave.
• Collaborate with central payroll and HR administration teams.
• Drive change‑management projects and cultural development initiatives.
• Coach leaders on team development and promote HR best practices.

Required profile

• Several years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a comparable advisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss employment law and HR practices.
• Proven ability to support leaders through organisational and people‑related challenges.
• Strategic thinking combined with hands‑on execution.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent German and good English proficiency.
